SALENTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2005 CALL FOR ENTRIES
The 2nd Annual Salento International Film Festival is now accepting submissions for its 2005 film festival, which will take place from September 10 to 18 in Salento the heel of the boost shaped Italy, a region rich of art and history.
We are looking for quality, innovative features, Documentaries and shorts from across the

The Festival features an International Competition (World Cinema): 12 International films in their original language will compete for the "VALLONEA AWARD" for BEST FILM and GRAND JURY AWARD. THE WORLD IN SHORT International short-film competition. A WINDOW TO THE WORLD International documentary competition. FOCUS ON ITALIAN CINEMA: A showcase of new Italian films. EUROPEAN SHOWCASE new European films. A "LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD" will be presented to a leading actor, director who has demonstrated dedication, talent and love for the art of cinema. A "SPECIAL TRIBUTE" will be awarded for the artistic career of a legendary world renown actor.
The Salento International Film Festival is a nine-days film festival showcasing the independent films from around the world and honoring the achievement of some of the most successful artists working in the film industry today. Is a celebration of films and filmmakers, promotes international independent films, in recognition of the fact that movies are the most powerful form of cultural communication and link between cultures' and peoples'.
What we need is a DVD, press kit, and a English dialogue list, to be send to:
